Bishop to ordain Brackett a priest

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor will ordain Deacon Joel Brackett to the priesthood at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock. A reception will follow in McDonald Hall. All are invited to attend. A holy hour to pray for Brackett will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 30 at the Cathedral. Applications are now being accepted for Search #156. It will be held at St. John Catholic Center in Little Rock June 27-29. Search is a faith formation program for high school juniors and seniors designed to help them get to know themselves better, deepen their relationship with Christ and find support in living out their faith in the world. The summer Search weekend is open to incoming juniors and seniors and recently graduated seniors. The fee to attend is $150 per person.
